Why so many websites never get finished

Most small businesses buy a domain with the best intentions. Then the work starts: choosing a design, writing every page, finding photos, setting up hosting. Weeks pass, the business gets busy, and the domain shows a parking page or a "coming soon" sign for years. Your old website on the Internet Archive

The Internet Archive has saved copies of millions of websites over the years. When your website is down, parked or broken, the launcher looks for its last good copy there and keeps what it said: your business name, what you do, your phone number and email, your address and social pages, your logo and photos. You check it, add what is missing, and your new website starts from your own words.

Keeping your domain

Your domain stays yours. When you go live, you can bring it over to us at the checkout, and your website appears on it, secure with https. For a few country endings our support team connects it for you instead. If the domain is not registered yet, we register it for you when you go live (the domain itself is paid separately).

Is the AI Website Launcher free?

Yes. Check your domain as often as you like (up to 30 checks a day from one connection), with no sign-up. Building and previewing your website costs nothing too. Going live costs $119 a year of hosting; a domain you do not own yet is registered and paid for separately.

What does the launcher look at?

Your domain: whether it is registered, whether a website answers on it, and what that website shows. It reads your homepage and up to two more pages, the way a visitor would, and never logs in or changes anything.

My old website is gone. Can you still use it?

Often, yes. Many websites were saved over the years by the Internet Archive. When yours is down, parked or broken, we look for its last good copy there and keep the name, the words, the contacts and the photos it had.

Do I keep my domain?

Yes, it stays yours. When you go live, you can bring it over to us at the checkout, and your website appears on it with https. For a few country endings our support team connects it for you instead.

What if my domain is not registered yet?
