Sample website for Maren Atelier, a fictional fashion designer, built with AI Web Maker.

Made in small runs, worn for years

Maren Atelier designs and sews ready to wear pieces in runs of thirty or fewer, and makes commissions to order in the studio. Shop the current collection, or send an enquiry for a piece made for you.

A designer pinning a paper pattern onto cloth at a cutting table

From sketch to finished seam in one room

Every pattern is drafted in the studio and every piece is sewn here, which is why each run stays small. Working this way means a fit problem found in the first ten pieces is fixed before the next twenty are cut.

Cloth is chosen for how it wears after years, not for how it photographs. Linen softens, wool holds a crease, and silk is cut on the bias so it moves with the body.

  • Runs of thirty pieces or fewer
  • Natural fibres chosen for long wear
  • Repairs offered on every piece we make

Size guide

Measure over light clothing and choose the size that matches the largest measurement. Between sizes, the larger one leaves room for alteration.

How a commission comes together

Eight to ten weeks from the first conversation to the finished piece.

  1. Enquiry

Tell us the occasion, the date and what you have in mind. We reply with a time to talk.

  2. Sketch and cloth

A consultation in the studio or by video, then a sketch and a cloth sample sent to you.

  3. Toile fitting

You try a calico version so the shape and fit are settled before the real cloth is cut.

  4. Final fitting

The finished piece is fitted, pressed and wrapped, or sent to you insured.

Questions about orders

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to most countries. The delivery fee is calculated at checkout from the address, and import duties, where they apply, are paid by the customer on arrival.

Can pieces be returned?

Unworn ready to wear pieces with their tags can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Made to order pieces are cut for one person and cannot be returned.

Will a sold out piece come back?

Not in the same cloth. Some shapes return in a new cloth in a later run, and subscribers to the studio letter hear first.

How long does a commission take?

Eight to ten weeks for most pieces. If your date is sooner, ask anyway, and we say honestly whether it can be done well in the time.

How should linen and wool be cared for?

Wash linen cool and dry it flat. Air wool between wears and have it cleaned only when it needs it, which keeps the cloth soft for longer.

Do you alter pieces bought from the collection?

Yes. Hems and waists are altered in the studio for a small charge, and repairs are offered for as long as the piece is worn.

Commission a piece

Describe the piece and the date it is needed for. We reply within two working days to arrange a consultation, and the price is agreed after the sketch.

About this sample page

What this sample fashion designer website gets right

This page is a sample fashion designer website for Maren Atelier, a fictional label, made to show what a fashion store built with AI Web Maker can include. The shop comes first, with a price, a size or colour choice and an Add to bag button on every ready to wear piece. A made to order dress has no price, so it shows an Enquire button that leads to the commission form. The size guide gives measurements in centimetres and inches to cut returns, and the studio section explains why runs are small. A lookbook and example reviews show the pieces worn and judged by the people who bought them.

An owner who builds a fashion store with AI Web Maker describes the label and its pieces, and the builder drafts the shop, product pages and enquiry form in minutes. Products can carry options, the checkout adds the delivery fee and discount codes can be offered. Building and previewing cost nothing, and going live is 9 a year of hosting with the domain paid separately. The full walkthrough of this sample is on its sample page, with what each part is for. Every section here can be changed to suit a different label or collection.
