Website pages
Home, about and service pages that say what you do in the first sentence and what to do next in the last.
Website copy, emails and brochures for businesses that know their work better than their adjectives. Ines interviews you first, writes in your voice and edits with you until every line earns its place.

Every job starts with a conversation, because the best line about a business is usually something its owner said without thinking.
Home, about and service pages that say what you do in the first sentence and what to do next in the last.
Welcome emails, launch sequences and monthly letters that sound like a person rather than a campaign.
Folded leaflets, price guides and sales brochures, written to fit the space your designer has drawn.
Short, specific descriptions for shops and catalogues, written in batches with one consistent voice.
Customer stories built from a short interview with your client, who approves the text before anything is published.
You write it, Ines trims it. Line edits plus a short note explaining every change worth explaining.
Clear words help readers act, but sales and sign ups depend on the product, the price, the timing and much else, so no figure is ever promised.
Fees are fixed per job and include the interview and two rounds of edits. Longer or rushed work is quoted on its own terms.
| Job | Typical length | First draft in | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home page | 400 to 600 words | 5 working days | $450 |
| Service or about page | 300 to 500 words | 4 working days | $350 |
| Five page website | About 2,500 words | 3 weeks | $1,900 |
| Welcome email series | 4 emails | 8 working days | $600 |
| Tri fold leaflet | About 350 words | 5 working days | $500 |
| Case study | 600 to 800 words | 2 weeks | $450 |
Half the fee books a slot in the calendar and the rest is due with the final file. Edits beyond the second round are charged at $60 an hour.

Before a word is drafted, Ines spends an hour asking how you explain the business to a customer across the counter. Those answers, recorded with your permission and transcribed, become the raw material for every page.
Each draft then passes a read aloud test. A sentence that cannot be said in one breath, or would sound odd coming from you, gets rewritten before you ever see it.
None of these are banned outright, but each has to prove it means something. Most of the time a plainer word does the job better.
Send a page you already have, and the quote comes back with a short list of the words Ines would cut from it and the reason for each.
Four stages for every job, whether it is a single leaflet or a whole website.
A short call about the job, the reader and the deadline, followed by a fixed quote in writing.
An hour of questions about the business, your customers and the way you talk about both.
A first draft arrives on the agreed date, with notes on any choices that might surprise you.
Two rounds of edits are included, then a clean final file for your designer or developer.
Drafts, proofs and conversations from an ordinary working week.

Our home page used to open with the year we were founded. Now it opens with what we repair, and fewer callers ask what we actually do.
The interview felt like a chat, yet the brochure used phrases we say every day without noticing. Two rounds of edits were plenty.
Ines cut our welcome emails from seven to four and explained each cut. The shorter series reads better and is easier to keep up to date.
The interview is there so it sounds like you. Ines keeps your phrases where they work, removes jargon your customers would never use, and marks any line that drifts away from your voice.
Copyright in the final text passes to you once the invoice is paid. Copyright law differs between countries, so the terms are written into every quote.
Pages are written for people first, using the words your customers actually use, which helps a page be understood. No writer can promise how a search engine will treat it, and Ines never does.
Two rounds of edits are included, and most drafts need only one. If the brief itself changes after the interview, a new quote is agreed before more work starts.
Ines asks for the evidence behind any claim, such as a guarantee or a comparison, and leaves it out if there is none. Advertising rules vary by country, so final approval rests with you and, where needed, your own adviser.
Ines writes in English only. For other languages she works alongside translators you choose, writing a version that translates cleanly.
Tell Ines what needs writing, who will read it and when it is due. You get a fixed quote by the next working day, and the slot is held only once you say yes.
Calls are easiest on weekday mornings; emails are answered within a working day.

About this sample page
Plain Words Copywriting is an invented studio, and its single page shows how a copywriter could present the work on AI Web Maker. The opening view looks like ruled paper with punctuation drifting in the margins, so visitors know at a glance whose desk they are at. Services, a rates table and an interview first method follow, each written in the same plain voice the studio sells. A dark band of struck through words shows the writer's taste with a smile. A short quote form closes the page and asks for the job, the deadline and the reader.
Any copywriter can start a similar site by describing their services to the builder and then rewriting the draft it produces. Briefs come in through the enquiry form, and fees and deposits are agreed directly with each client. There is no charge for drafting or previewing, and once published the site runs on $119 of hosting a year with the domain on top. A section by section commentary on this sample sits behind the link below. Writers who borrow the structure should still replace every sentence, which is the whole point of the trade.
