From your request to the first sighting

Four steps, with the same person in the office answering your questions until you meet your guide.

  1. Request your places

Pick a safari, a start date and the number of travellers, or describe the trip you have in mind.

  2. We confirm the dates

Within one working day we confirm the places, offer the nearest departure or reply with a plan for a tailored safari.

  3. Get ready at home

We send a packing list and the park fees. See a doctor or a travel clinic about vaccinations and check visa rules for your passport.

  4. Meet your guide

Your guide collects you from your hotel, checks the vehicle with you and sets off before the heat of the day.

A safari built around your own dates

Some trips do not fit a set departure: a family with young children, a photographer who wants long hours at one waterhole, a couple who would rather walk than drive. For these we plan a private safari around your dates, your pace and the animals you most hope to see.

Tell us how many days you have, who is travelling and what matters most. A planner replies with a route, the camps and a price, and changes it with you until it fits.

  • Private vehicle and guide
  • Start on any day you choose
  • Slower days, longer sightings
  • Families with children of any age

Health, papers and rules in the bush

Some of the most important parts of a safari happen before you leave home. Here is what we ask every traveller to sort out, and what we ask of you once you are out there.

Vaccinations and travel health

We cannot give medical advice. See your doctor or a travel clinic six to eight weeks before you travel about vaccinations, malaria prevention and any medicines you take.

Visas and entry rules

Visa rules depend on your passport and can change at short notice. Check the official government website or the embassy of each country you will enter.

Park and reserve fees

Each park sets its own fees, which change with the season and the visitor's nationality. We charge them at cost and show the figure in your quote.

Travel insurance

Overnight safaris need insurance that covers medical evacuation. Bring the policy number and the insurer's phone number to your first briefing.

At a sighting

Stay seated and inside the vehicle, keep voices low and never call or feed an animal. The guide decides how close to go, and that decision is final.

Children on safari

Children aged 6 and over join the dawn game drive, and set departures take ages 12 and up. Younger children are welcome on a tailored safari.

Back from the trail (example reviews)

Our guide stopped the vehicle, pointed at the dust and told us a lioness had crossed an hour earlier. Twenty minutes later we were watching her with two cubs.

We asked for a slow trip with long stops for photographs, and that is exactly what was planned. Five mornings at the same waterhole gave us pictures a busy itinerary never would.
Kenji T.Tailored safari, six days
The children had their own binoculars and a checklist of animals, and the guide treated every question as a good one. The boat trip at sunset was the highlight of the whole holiday.

Asked before the first drive

When is the best time to go?

Animals can be seen all year. In the dry months they gather near water and are easier to find, while the green season brings young animals, migrating birds and fewer vehicles. Tell us your months and we explain what to expect.

What should we pack?

Clothes in quiet colours, a warm layer for early drives, a hat, sunscreen and a soft bag of no more than 15 kg on longer tours. Binoculars are on board, but your own pair is never wasted.

Can we join on our own?

Yes. Solo travellers share the vehicle with others, and on overnight safaris a tent to yourself costs 30 percent more than the shared price.

What if a departure does not fill?

Set departures run with two travellers or more. If a date has only one, we offer the nearest running date or a private safari at a price you can accept or decline.

How close do we get to the animals?

Close enough to watch them properly, never so close that they change what they are doing. Guides follow the rules of each park, which often keep vehicles on marked tracks.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel 60 days or more before departure and the deposit comes back, less any park permits already paid. Day trips can be cancelled up to 48 hours ahead at no charge.

Ask for your places on a safari

Choose a safari and a start date and tell us how many are travelling. For a tailored safari, pick that option and describe the trip in the last box. The office replies within one working day.

  • Places are held only after we confirm
  • A 25 percent deposit once dates are agreed
  • Park fees confirmed in writing at cost

One working day for a reply, and nothing to pay until we confirm.

Talk to the safari office

The office is open six days a week. On Sundays the guides are out on the trail, so email and we answer on Monday morning.

About this sample page

Set departures, park fee honesty and a paw print trail

Savanna Trails Safaris is invented, and its page shows how a safari company can present guided trips on AI Web Maker. Paw prints cross the sunrise photo at the top, then three set departures appear with prices per person and a limit of six in each vehicle. A plain table separates what the price covers from park fees, visas, flights and insurance. Travel health questions are sent to a doctor or travel clinic, and children's ages are set for each kind of trip. The page reads like an operator who expects careful questions and answers them before they are asked.

A version for your own company starts from a short description of your safaris, your guides and the country you work in. From that, the builder lays out departures and a request form in a draft you can rework and preview without being billed. Travellers then ask for places that you confirm, move or decline, and the deposit is agreed directly between you. Hosting is $119 a year when the site goes live, plus a domain. The full walkthrough explains each section of this example, so keep the parts that match the way you guide.
