How lessons begin

  1. Book a trial

  2. Meet the teacher

In 30 minutes the teacher hears where the student is and finds the music that excites them.

  3. Pick a weekly slot

If it feels right, choose a regular time and we send the invoice for the term.

  4. Play and progress

Practice notes every week, a progress review each term and a concert to play in.

Safe, welcoming lessons for children

Every teacher who works with children has passed the background checks that the law requires for that work where the school is based, and those checks are renewed on the schedule the rules set. Requirements differ from country to country, and our written safeguarding policy sets out exactly what we follow.

Studio doors have glass panels, a member of staff is always on site, and parents can wait in reception or sit in on any lesson. Teachers contact students under 18 only through a parent or the school office, never through private messages.

  • A named safeguarding lead for the whole school
  • Safeguarding training for every teacher, refreshed each year
  • Parents welcome to sit in on any lesson
  • The full policy given to every family on request

From parents and students (example reviews)

Our daughter started piano at six and now asks to practise before school. The weekly notes make it easy to help at home without reading music ourselves.

Started guitar at fifty two after years of meaning to. Every lesson is built around songs worth learning, and the first concert was a proud night.

Two boys, two sets of drumsticks and somehow a calmer house. A patient teacher turned all that energy into real rhythm.

Questions from families

Can a child try more than one instrument?

Yes. Book a trial on each instrument they are curious about. Some children settle on one within a few weeks, and some happily keep two.

Does the student need their own instrument?

Not for the trial, since the school has pianos, guitars in several sizes and a drum kit. Weekly students need something to practise on at home, and the teacher can advise on a sensible first instrument before you buy.

Do you prepare students for graded exams?

Yes, for students who want them, though exams are never required. Graded music exams are run by exam boards that differ from country to country, and exam fees are set by the board and paid separately.

What happens if a lesson is missed?

Let us know 24 hours ahead and the lesson can be moved once each term. Lessons missed without notice cannot be refunded, but the teacher still sends practice notes so the week is not lost.

Can parents watch lessons?

Always. Parents of children under eleven are asked to stay on site, and any parent can sit in on a lesson or wait in reception.

Is anyone too old to start?

No. Our oldest current beginner started piano in their seventies. Adult lessons run in the evenings and on Saturdays, at a pace the student sets.

About this sample page

How this music school sample helps families decide

Harmony Lane Music School is an imaginary school, and its sample website is arranged around the questions parents and adult learners ask first. Instruments and starting prices appear within the first screens, followed by lesson prices paid by the term and a single trial lesson. A table of starting ages helps parents judge whether a child is ready for piano, guitar, voice or drums. Safeguarding has its own section, explaining checks, training and the welcome for parents who want to sit in. Every part leads toward a short lesson request, so a curious visitor can become a student within a few minutes.

Music teachers and schools can build a similar site with AI Web Maker by describing the instruments, ages and prices they offer. The builder drafts the pages and the request form, and the school edits them before publishing. Lesson requests then arrive for the school to accept, move or decline, while fees stay between the school and each family. Hosting runs to 9 a year or a month after launch, the domain is extra, and the drafting stage carries no charge. A walkthrough of every section, with the reason behind it, is on the sample page.
