How an Inspection Works
From your first enquiry to the final report in your hands, here is what to expect at every stage of a Truehome Inspection.
The Steps From Enquiry to Visit
Make an enquiry. Tell us the property address and the type of inspection you need.
Booking. We confirm a date and time that suits you and send you the details.
Preparation. We send a short checklist so you know what to have ready.
On-site visit. Your inspector attends the property at the agreed time.
What You Need to Prepare
Confirm the property is accessible, including any gates, locked rooms or loft hatches.
Let us know about any known issues or recent repairs.
Arrange for someone to be present or available to answer questions if needed.
Clear access to the meter boxes, roof space and under-sink areas where practical.
Have any previous reports, plans or warranties available if you hold them.

What Happens on the Day
Your inspector will walk through the property methodically, checking the areas agreed at booking. They will take photographs and notes as they go.
The length of the visit depends on the size and condition of the property. Please speak with us when you book so we can give you a realistic time estimate.
How Your Findings Are Delivered
After the visit, you will receive a written report with photographs and clear notes on the condition of the property.
Where helpful, we are available to talk through the findings so you understand what they mean for you before making any decisions.
