Jobs we take on

Any of these can be added to a regular visit or booked on their own. Prices assume normal access and a short walk to the garden.

Mowing and edging

Hedge trimming

Formal hedges cut straight and flat, informal ones shaped, outside the nesting season wherever birds are protected.

Up to 10 mfrom $75

Weeding and mulching

Weeds lifted with the roots, then a layer of bark or compost spread to hold moisture and slow the next crop.

Per hour$38

Pruning

Roses, fruit trees, climbers and flowering shrubs cut at the right time of year for each plant, not all at once.

Per hour$40

Leaf and storm clear up

Leaves raked from lawns and beds, gutters at ground level cleared, and fallen branches cut and bagged.

Per visitfrom $55

Extra green waste

What a garden needs through the year

In places with four seasons, the round follows this pattern. In tropical and dry climates the work follows the rains instead, and we plan it with you on the first visit.

How a booking works

From the request to the first cut, usually within a week in the growing season.

  1. Pick a visit and a time

Choose a round or a tidy, a first date and a morning or afternoon slot in the form below.

  2. We confirm or suggest

Within one working day we accept the time, offer the nearest open slot, or say if the round is full.

  3. First visit walk round

Ten minutes together in the garden to agree what stays, what goes and where the tap and bins are.

  4. Same day each time

Regular visits fall on the same weekday with the same gardener, and a short note is left after each one.

One gardener who knows your plants

Gardens go wrong when a different person turns up each time and pulls the seedlings along with the weeds. On a Greenhand round, the same gardener comes back on the same weekday and learns which plants you are encouraging.

If the gardener is away, a colleague covers with the notes from your garden, and we tell you before the visit.

  • Mowers, trimmers and hand tools brought to every visit
  • Green waste taken to a composting site
  • Insured for work in your garden
  • Plants you buy can be planted on a visit

Notes from the round (example reviews)

Every second Thursday the lawn is cut, the beds are clean and a note on the back door says what was done. Two years on, the same gardener still comes.

The garden had been left for a year before the house went on the market. Two gardeners had it looking cared for by lunchtime and took every bag away.

Questions about garden visits

Does someone need to be home?

No. Most clients leave a side gate open and the tap accessible. We knock on arrival and leave a short note when we go.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain does not stop us. In heavy rain or on waterlogged lawns we move the visit to the next dry day on the round and let you know in the morning.

Do you sell plants?

No plants are sold online or on the round. We can suggest what suits the spot, and plant anything you buy at the hourly rate.

Where does the green waste go?

Clippings, weeds and prunings are bagged and taken to a composting site. Garden waste bins on the property are only used if you ask.

How is a visit paid for?

We send an invoice after each regular visit or at the end of the month, and payment is arranged directly with us. One off tidies are paid on the day.

How do we stop a regular round?

Tell us before the next visit. There is no contract or notice period, and the round can be paused over winter.

About this sample page

Inside a garden care site built around the weekly round

Greenhand Garden Care is an invented business, and its one page site shows how a gardener can present rounds, extra jobs and a visit request on AI Web Maker. The page opens with a promise about weekends and an arched photo of a lawn being edged, then prices three kinds of visit in the terms clients use. A list of garden jobs and a seasonal table show the knowledge behind the mowing. A section on keeping the same gardener explains why regular clients stay for years. Every part of the page leads gently toward the booking form at the end.

A gardener starting on AI Web Maker writes a few lines about jobs, prices and the round area, and the builder turns them into a draft site with a visit request form. Clients choose a visit, a date and a slot, and the gardener accepts the request, moves it or declines it. Payment stays between the gardener and the client, and the platform takes no cut. Going live is $119 a year of hosting with the domain paid separately, and building and previewing cost nothing. The sample page below explains each section and how a gardener might reorder it.
