Book a lane, bring the whole crew

Twenty lanes priced by the game, bumpers and ramps for younger bowlers, glow bowling on weekend nights, and a bar and diner right behind the lanes. Pick a day and a time, and the front desk holds your lane.

  • Parties for kids and grown ups
  • Bar and diner by the lanes

Prices by the game

Every game is priced per bowler, and shoe hire is included. Book the number of games you want, or take the lane by the hour on busy nights.

WhenPer game, per bowlerLane by the hour, up to 6
Monday to Friday, before 17:00$6$36
Monday to Thursday, from 17:00$8$48
Friday and Saturday, from 17:00$10$60
Sunday, all day$8$48
Glow bowling, Friday and Saturday from 21:00$11$66

Shoe hire is part of every price. A game for six bowlers takes about 40 minutes, so groups that would rather not count games often take the lane by the hour.

Bar and diner, lane side

Order at the counter or from your lane, and the food comes to the seats behind it. The kitchen closes an hour before the lanes do.

How a lane booking works

Four steps from the request to the first frame.

  1. Send a request

Pick the day, the time, how many are bowling and how many games or hours you want.

  2. The desk confirms

Within a working day, or within the hour at weekends, the desk confirms the lane or offers the nearest open slot.

  3. Arrive 15 minutes early

Swap your shoes at the counter and type the bowlers' names into the scoring screen.

  4. Bowl and order

The lane is yours for the games or hours booked, and the diner brings food to the seats behind it.

Bumpers, ramps and lighter balls

Every lane has bumpers that rise from the gutters at the press of a button, so younger bowlers keep the ball in play while adults on the same lane bowl without them. Balls start at 6 lb, with smaller finger holes, on a rack beside the family lanes.

A bowling ramp lets anyone who cannot swing a ball aim it and push it down the slope, which suits small children and bowlers using wheelchairs alike. The lanes, the diner and the washrooms are all on one level, reached from the car park without a single step.

  • Bumpers on all twenty lanes
  • Ramps set up on request
  • Balls from 6 lb to 16 lb
  • Everything on one level

Before you bowl

Do we need to book a lane?

Walk ins are welcome while lanes are open, but Friday and Saturday evenings fill up, so a booking is the only way to be sure of a lane.

Are shoes included?

Yes, shoe hire is in every price. Socks are required, and spare pairs are sold at the desk for $2.

How long does a game take?

About 40 minutes for six bowlers, and less for smaller groups. A lane booked by the hour fits as many games as the group can manage.

Can young children bowl?

Yes, from age 3 with bumpers and a ramp. Under 16s need an adult in their group after 20:00, and only guests of legal drinking age are served at the bar.

What if we are running late?

Lanes are held for 15 minutes past the booked time. After that the desk may give the lane to someone waiting and offer you the next open slot.

Is the alley accessible?

The lanes, the diner and the washrooms are on one level, and a ramp and a lighter ball can be set up on any lane.

Book a lane

Say which day, what time and how many are bowling. The front desk answers within a working day, or within the hour at weekends, to hold the lane or suggest a time close to the one you asked for.

  • The lane is held once the desk confirms
  • Pay at the desk on the day; parties pay a deposit first
  • Bumpers and ramps ready before you arrive

Weekend requests get an answer within the hour.

About this sample page

Lanes by the game, a lane side diner and ramps for every age

Strike Lane Bowling is a pretend alley, and its one page site is a worked example of lanes, food and parties set out on AI Web Maker. A price table opens the page, with games per bowler and lanes by the hour for each time of day, and shoe hire included. The diner and bar follow with starting prices, then three party packages that name the group size each price covers. A four step sequence explains how a lane request is confirmed, and a section on bumpers, ramps and lighter balls shows that every bowler can play. The page closes with a lane request asking for the day, the time, the bowlers and how long they want to play.

An alley owner can start with a few sentences about the lanes, menu and parties, and the builder lays them out as a draft page to work on. Lane requests then reach the desk, which accepts them, moves them or turns them down, and bowlers pay the alley directly. Hosting starts at publication, costing $119 for the year, and the domain comes as its own purchase. Further down, the sample page sets out the reasoning behind each section. An alley famous for its glow nights or its league would likely lead with that instead.
